Webhooks in Formisoft
Webhooks are a powerful way to automate your workflows and integrations. They allow you to send data from Formisoft to other services when certain events occur. This article will guide you through the process of setting up and using webhooks in Formisoft.
What are Webhooks?
Webhooks are a way for Formisoft to send data to other services when certain events occur. For example, you can set up a webhook to send a notification when a form is submitted.
Setting Up Webhooks
To set up a webhook, you need to:
- Go to the form you want to set up a webhook for.
- Click on the "After Submissions" tab.
- Scroll down to the "Webhook" section.
- Enter the URL of the service you want to send the webhook to.
You can press on "See Example" to see what the payload will look like.
Triggering Webhooks
Webhooks are triggered by certain events in Formisoft. For example, a webhook will be triggered when a form is submitted.
Payload
The payload is the data that will be sent to the service you are integrating with. It will contain the data from the form, as well as some metadata about the form and the submission.
How to Test your Webhook
You can test your webhook by submitting the form. After the form is submitted, you can press on "See Last Requests" to see if the webhook worked.
