No. Card capture is intake. Verification is an eligibility check with the payer that confirms active coverage and can return plan name, copay, and deductible details. Most practices collect cards on intake, then verify coverage before the visit.

Yes. You can configure payment fields as fixed-amount (e.g. $50 deposit) or variable-amount where the patient enters how much they want to pay toward a balance.

No. Formisoft does not add any markup to your payments. You only pay standard Stripe processing fees (typically 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction). Funds go directly to your connected Stripe account.
