Does Formisoft charge additional fees on payments?
No. Formisoft does not add any markup to your payments. You only pay standard Stripe processing fees (typically 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction). Funds go directly to your connected Stripe account.
Is payment processing HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified, and Formisoft never stores card numbers or sensitive payment data. The payment flow is fully compliant with healthcare privacy and security requirements.
Can patients pay a custom amount?
Yes. You can configure payment fields as fixed-amount (e.g., $50 copay) or variable-amount where the patient enters how much they want to pay toward a balance.
How long does it take to set up payments?
